Awaken Love! Claim God’s Powerful Gift of Sex in Marriage

As I mentioned in a previous post, I am highlighting other Christian blogs that have a passion for encouraging healthy sexual intimacy in marriage.

I’ve asked my fellow bloggers to answer a few questions and share their favorite post.

Today I bring you Awaken Love by Ruth Buezis and Melanie Lloyd.

1. Why did you start writing/speaking about sexual intimacy in marriage?

We wrote and started teaching Awaken-Love, a 6-week study for wives to discover God’s best in their marriage bed, because we felt like God called us to share what we had learned. Our marriages were totally transformed when we understood the power of sex, how important it is, and how much freedom God desires.

We write and speak about sex on our blog because people need to know the truth about sex and they need good information on how to get there.

2. What do you hope readers/listeners gain from visiting your site?

When people visit Awaken-Love.net, we hope they find God’s truth about sex, respectful conversations, and the full picture of how to have a great sex life within marriage. We are all on a journey, including us, so we want to be real in the struggles and in the triumphs. We also hope that women are led to take an Awaken-Love Video Class — all it takes is gathering a group of married women to go on an amazing journey of discovery together.
