Encouraging Christian Women toward Healthy Sexual Intimacy

Can the Intimacy Newsletter and Spam Filters Play Nice Together?

Awhile back, I installed a new newsletter plug-in on WordPress.

Okay, I didn’t do it.

My web guy did it.

And like all good tech people, he patiently walked me through how to actually put out a newsletter.  (Thank you Doug!)

When I put the first one out, I received a lot of undeliverables, particularly from Comcast addresses.

I understand.  I write about sex, so any time I even use the word “sex,” all kinds of red flags go off in spam software.

Anyway, I want things go to smoother with the newsletter (for my sake and yours).

I have books to give away!  I have encouragement to offer!

I want married people to have the best sex ever.  (It’s not a motto, but it could be.  I might get t-shirts printed. To wear to my kids’ school events.)

If you are not on my newsletter list, you can do that by clicking on the below sentence:

Yes, I Want that Newsletter, Julie!

Whether you are just signing up or signed up long ago, PLEASE add and to your safe sender list.   I really think this will help cut down on the bounces.  Let’s hope so!

Below are just a few of the books I’ll be giving away in the coming weeks by randomly pulling email addresses from my newsletter list (don’t worry, I will never publish your email address).

Sheet Music by Kevin Leman

Sacred Sex by Tim Alan Gardner

When Two Become One: Enhancing Sexual Intimacy in Marriage by Christopher and Rachel McCluskey

For Women Only by Shaunti Feldhahn

Real Questions, Real Answers About Sex by Dr. Louis and Melissa McBurney

Remember…. Don’t forget to add me to your safe sender list, so that your spam filters don’t mistake the intimacy newsletter for all that icky spam.
